She was born on August 01, 1969 in Čačak. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University in Belgrade 1995, and passed bar exam on June 27, 2000.
She did her internship in the First Municipal Court in Belgrade from May 18, 1998 - June 26, 2000, where she worked as Judicial Assisstant from June 27, 2000 tо December 27, 2001. She was appointed Judge of the First Municipal Court in Belgrade on December 27, 2001, and assigned to the Investigation Department from January 10, 2002 to June 2002. Afterwards, she worked as Judge of the Civil Department until July 2003. Between 2003 and 2009 she acted as a Judge of the Criminal Department in the First Municipal Court in Belgrade. On December 16, 2009, she was appointed Judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade, assigned to the Investigation Department beginning from 2010, than to the Criminal Department as of 2011. She was appointed Judge of the Appelate Court on October 22, 2013 assigned to the Criminal Department, where, as of 2015, acted as well in cases of the Special Department for Organized Crime.
She was Representative of the Republic of Serbia in the European Judicial Network, member of the Programme Council of the Judical Academy, mentor, lecturer and trainer at the Judicial Academy.
She participated in numerous judicial seminars in the country and abroad, she was a member of the Working Group and the author of the preface to the Law on Protection on Right to a Trial within Reasonable Time as well as several works published in judicial bulletins.
She assumed her position of the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation at the General Session of the Supreme Court of Cassation held on April 16, 2021, after being elected at the Sixth Session of the First Regular Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, held on April 8, 2021.
